After completing degrees from Duke and
Michigan, I moved to Portland, Oregon and worked at Intel Corporation
as a senior software engineer for six years. In 2001, I took a year
and traveled with my husband. As we explored the world, we were amazed
at the fact that we could research destinations, pay bills, email
photos, book travel, and check basketball scores all from a little
internet café in Siem Reap, Cambodia. If a company did not
have an internet presence, then it did not get our business. This
remains true now that we are settled back into a more "normal"
life. Since moving to Newport, Rhode Island, I have put my computer experience to work creating custom web solutions specific to the needs and budgets of my clients.
